Shriners International 150th Anniversary Art Show

We are hosting the first ever celebration of Shriners through fine art!
Artists are invited to create and submit work that includes Shrine Icons and imagery or includes the core Shriner values of fun, fellowship, and philanthropy as its subject matter.

The theme of the show is a celebration of Shriners International 150th Anniversary. For a work to be accepted it must relate to the core theme of Shriners or Shriners values.  Shriners values are: Fun, Fellowship, Philanthropy.  Some ideas, this is not an inclusive list of all ideas, and we encourage you to explore further ideas: Helping children in need through our hospitals and clinics, our symbols (ex: red fez, simitar and crescent), parading, circuses, and more.  Feel free to use inspiration from images on the art call site, ShrinersInternational.org, or other locations.

The fraternity established Shriners Children's as its official philanthropy in 1922 and continues to support it today. It is now one of the largest pediatric sub-specialty healthcare systems in the world, with locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. In addition, the healthcare system holds hundreds of outreach clinics annually, with medical staff members routinely traveling to places around the world to provide pediatric medical care. The staff of Shriners Children’s is dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, conducting innovative research and offering outstanding educational programs for medical professionals.

Shriners International is a brotherhood of men of great character, compassion and strong values who are committed to family, fellowship and making the world a better place. We seek to attract men of different backgrounds, career paths, ages and interests, and the unique ideas, beliefs, and perspectives they bring to our global Shriners family. Our members are known for their loyalty, camaraderie and their steadfast support of each other and their communities in times of need. We have members on six continents.

Although Shriners International is a brotherhood, it is also an organization that celebrates the importance of family. Many of our events and activities are designed to include spouses, children and grandchildren, and to promote shared values. If you are a working professional with a busy schedule, this allows you to spend quality time with your brothers while simultaneously strengthening your family bonds. Shriners and their extended families are a large, compassionate, supportive group where lasting relationships are formed.

A variety of affiliated organizations for both women and children, emphasizing personal growth, fun and friendship, participate along with Shriners.
