Shriners International 150th Anniversary Art Show

Submission Terms; Regardless of application status, any fees paid through Art Call are non-refundable by Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc.. Exhibition Invitation Terms: By finalizing legal agreement, Artist agrees to all terms and stipulations listed. 
1. Artist retains ownership of all artwork on loan to Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. Artwork must be original, unsold work. The Artist must be the sole copyright owner. Artist will retain copyrights to artwork in perpetuity, as governed by law. Any and all images provided by artist to Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. can be used for promotional purposes (online or in print) pertaining to inventory, sales and events. 
2. List price for each artwork on loan will be established by Artist. 
3. Artist agrees to provide Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. upon request, with any necessary documents or information in support of sales in a timely fashion. 
4. Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. retains a 45% commission on the final sale price of all unique and/or editioned artwork sold during any exhibition (online or in gallery). 
5. Sales remittances to Artists are paid within 60 days after the close of exhibition and receipt of payment from Buyer to Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. has been finalized. All online sales will be remitted from the Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. Artists are responsible for income taxes associated with the sale of their artwork. Artists must complete a W9 (regardless of final sale amount) prior to receiving sale remittance. Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. sends all remitted artists a 1099 taxable income statement in January.
6. Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. is not responsible for faulty hangers or mounts on framed or unframed works. Frames, mats and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. Wires must be securely fashioned and support weights of the artwork. 2d artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. 3D artwork and freestanding sculptures must be able to stand or hang securely and independently. Framed or unframed artwork, improperly or poorly mounted artwork, panels or canvases without a secured wire hanger is not covered by our limited liability insurance. Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. is not responsible for artwork damage caused by natural disasters. 
7. All shipped artwork must include a return label from Artist’s preferred courier (e.g. FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.). Parcel packaging must be suitable to re-use for return shipping. Absolutely no packing peanuts! Crates, boxes, even small packages containing packing peanuts will be resealed and shipped back to Artists, no exceptions. Artwork sent through the US Postal Service, must include a prepaid shipping label, USPS stamps will not be accepted. 
8. Artist is responsible for round-trip shipping and handling costs, packaging and transport insurance of artworks. Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. is not responsible for artwork damaged or lost during shipping. Damage to artwork may not be noticeable upon arrival; the gallery will be diligent in documenting any and all damage caused in transport (whether upon arrival or when artwork is unpacked). Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. will notify the Artist as soon as possible if damage during transport has occurred. 
9. Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. reserves the right to refuse artwork(s) that are not professionally presented, securely mounted and/or that do not resemble original online submissions. In the event that an Artist’s artwork(s) are refused upon arrival to the gallery, the Artist is not entitled to reimbursement(s). Any costs and/or fees associated with the exhibition are non-refundable (i.e. submissions, applications, artwork preparation and/or packaging, shipping and handling, exhibition preparation, etc.) 
10. Artist agrees that artwork on loan to Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. during the term of this agreement (originals and/or prints and duplicates) will not be displayed, exhibited or shown in other galleries or platforms (online or physically) while artwork is on loan to Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. Artwork received and accepted into the gallery will remain onsite for the term of this agreement. 
11. Artwork unsold at the end of the exhibition must be retrieved in a timely manner. Artwork must either be picked up in person or shipped back to Artist (return label provided by Artist). If artwork on loan to Shriners International Imperial Session 2022, Inc. is not retrieved within 45 after the close of exhibition will be considered forfeited by Artist (unless other arrangements have been discussed). Forfeited artwork becomes the property of Zuhrah Shriners.
